New conductor and tutor appointments

At the end of the very successful 2016 / 2017 session, James McAleenan decided to leave SLOS. This created a vacancy for the conductor of the Senior Concert Band and a number of tutor vacancies also became available. Following a successful recruitment process, the majority of vacancies have now been filled.
We are delighted to advise that for the forthcoming session the new Senior Concert Band conductor will be Hughina Naylor, the Senior Concert Band brass tutor will be Jenna Sloane and the Senior Concert Band percussion tutor will be Thomas Lowe.
We would like to congratulate Kevin Flynn on being appointed as the new Intermediate Concert Band conductor and Gregor Beattie as the new Intermediate Concert Band brass tutor. We would also like to congratulate Victoria Lindie who has been appointed as the Junior Concert Band woodwind tutor. A vacancy still exists for the Intermediate Concert Band Percussion Tutor.
